Introducing Romer in the 1940s .

Rohmer is a long-established brand founded in 1888 by Fritz Meyer in Solothurn, Switzerland.

When the company was founded, it began by manufacturing movements and built a reputation for producing watches with excellent precision and durability.
In the 1920s, the company grew into a manufacturer with its own factory.
The company produced many models that placed particular emphasis on water resistance and durability, and its watches, which combined practicality with beautiful design, gained popularity around the world.

A Rohmer manual-winding model manufactured in the 1940s .
The dial has a simple white design, and the aging adds a calm look that is unique to vintage watches.

A fine minute track is placed around the outer edge, contrasting with the center to enhance visibility.
The Arabic numeral indexes are written in a slightly rounded, classical font, which echoes the blued steel Alpha Hands and adds a touch of elegance to the calm look.
It has a small second hand at the 6 o'clock position, allowing you to enjoy the refined look that is typical of Swiss hand-wound watches of the time.

The case has a soft, cushion-shaped square form.
The design, which skillfully combines curves, is simple yet striking, and the warmth of the gold tone further enhances the impression of the dial.

The Romer has a classic appearance, but also exudes the charm of vintage items, combining practicality and high quality for everyday use.

The movement is a hand-wound type with 17 jewels.

The beautifully placed ruby support stones prevent wear and ensure stable operation over the long term.
The base plate and bridges are given a careful hairline finish, highlighting the unique Swiss watchmaking craftsmanship that combines functional beauty with decorative design.

Case size: height: 30.5mm , width: 29mm , thickness: 9.6mm , weight: 22g .

The small cushion case and classic dial go well with a wide range of styles, from formal wear such as a suit to casual wear such as a jacket and jeans.
This is a versatile piece that adds a subtle touch of elegance to your wrist.

The case is in good condition with no noticeable scratches.
The dial has changed due to aging, but this does not affect visibility.
The movement is running smoothly and without any issues.

Comes with original Roamer watch box.

This model uses fixed lugs, so the strap cannot be easily replaced like the current model. Please note that special tools and processing are required for replacement.

However, if you have a pull-through type belt such as a NATO belt, you can enjoy changing it without using any tools.

When selling antique watches at RESUME, we do not immediately hand over the watch to you upon receiving your order. Instead, we have a professional overhaul (hereinafter referred to as OH) the watch, and then we deliver it to you after the OH is completed. (This takes about 1-2 months.)

Our specialized craftsmen, who are first-class watch repair technicians, will completely disassemble your watch, replace worn parts such as internal gaskets, clean it, oil it, and perform a thorough overhaul, maintaining it to a daily accuracy of about ±1 minute.
When we deliver the machine to you, we will also send you our own overhaul certificate, which will show you what kind of overhaul work was done on the machine, as well as photos of the machine being disassembled and serviced.
