However, with the appearance of "Marvel", the evaluation will change at once.
As a result of revising the design and implementing new attempts such as increasing the size of the movement, the performance was significantly better than the domestic watches up to that point, and it came to be recognized even overseas.
"Marvel" has become a great influence on the development of subsequent Seiko products, and is a masterpiece that can be counted as one of the best-selling products.

The "Marvel" introduced this time is an early model with 17 stones.
The letter “ S ” that shines above the SEIKO logo is impressive.
This is commonly known as the " S " mark, and it is rare because this logo can only be seen on early models.
In addition, instead of the printed letters seen in the later models, the embossed letters that make the logo look three-dimensional, which is only available in the earliest models, further increase its value.

Next, looking at the dial, "Marvel" at the time had many bar-type indexes, but this one partially uses Arabic numerals and has a bar above the numbers. A rare specification that it is stabbed.
This is also unified with embossed letters, so the entire dial is gorgeously colored and creates a sense of luxury.

The installed movement is a 17 stone model hand-wound.
A major feature is that it is larger than previous Seiko movements.
By increasing the size, it is possible to increase the balance, which can be said to be the engine of the watch, which leads to improved accuracy, and by increasing the number of gears, it is possible to obtain various benefits such as smooth transmission to each part. This has led to improved performance.
It's rare for a Seiko movement, and the balance part has a screw, which is a nice point that seems to be a vintage watch.

There are some stains on the dial, but it is not enough to hinder visibility.
There are no noticeable scratches on the case, and the movement is in such good condition that it is hard to believe that it is over 60 years old.
On top of the small round case, the thickness is only 9mm , so it goes well with suits and jackets, and it's just the right size for women to wear.

Watches are completely disassembled by professional watch repair technicians, replacing consumable parts such as internal packing, cleaning, lubricating, etc., and maintaining the watch to a condition with a daily difference of ± 1 minute.
In addition, we will also send you our own OH certificate, what kind of work was done at the time of delivery, and a photo of the machine when it was disassembled and maintained.
