The watch "Marvel" announced by Suwa Seikosha in the chaotic period after the war boasted overwhelming popularity.

Two years later, in 1958 , the Kameido factory-made wristwatch "Chronos" was announced.

Chronos, which actively incorporated modern design from the movement to the case design, had performance that rivaled not only the Marvel, but also the Crown, one of Seiko's most famous models.

Chronos is one of the watches that proves the capabilities of the Kameido factory, such as the development of the later "King Seiko".

Chronos has a soft impression by using many curves.
It gives the impression that the design of a pocket watch has been reduced to the size of a wristwatch, and it is a design that is unique to the Kameido factory, which was good at developing pocket watches.

The case is made of 14- karat gold-plated material, but the indexes are made of solid gold, so the way they age and shine is different, giving them a tasteful impression.

By omitting decorations as much as possible and arranging a simple silver dial, the design makes the most of this gold hue.

Equipped with a 23 jewel manual winding movement.
It is generally said that it is difficult to make a thin movement, but we succeeded in making this movement with a thickness of 4 mm while maintaining accuracy.

It is equipped with an anti-seismic device from the initial model, and has performance that surpasses Marvel's movement in terms of accuracy, maintainability, and practicality.

Watches are completely disassembled by professional watch repair technicians, replacing consumable parts such as internal packing, cleaning, lubricating, etc., and maintaining the watch to a condition with a daily difference of ± 1 minute.
In addition, we will also send you our own OH certificate, what kind of work was done at the time of delivery, and a photo of the machine when it was disassembled and maintained.
