Introducing the Seiko "Sportsmatic Silver Wave" in the 1960s .
The Sportsmatic Silver Wave was launched in 1964 as a popular model.
Because the basic caliber was 6601B , it is also called the 66 Silver Wave.
As stated on the dial, it is water resistant to 30m , and uses a strong crimp type back cover to boast high waterproof performance.
This is the first Seiko watch to be equipped with a rotating inner bezel, and the bezel can be operated with the crown at 4 o'clock.
Although it is a popular model, it is classified as a special watch among the many Seiko models, and due to the short production period of 3 years from 1964 to 1966 , there are only a few in existence, making it a highly rare watch.
The "Sportmatic Silver Wave" we are introducing this time is one that has a vintage watch feel due to the aging of the dial.
The disc, which was originally silver, is completely discolored and has turned an uneven pale beige color.
