Introducing the 1962 Seiko "Fashion".
In the early 1960s, Seiko not only offered practical men's models, but also a wide range of small women's watches that complemented women's attire.
The "Fashion" introduced here, as its name suggests, is a model that offers both the practicality of a watch and the element of an accessory to adorn the wrist.
Its delicate size and elegant design are filled with the modest and classic charm characteristic of Seiko's women's watches of that era.
■Dial and Case Design
The dial is a bright silver color.
At the 12 o'clock position, the script "Seiko Fashion" logo is subtly placed, exuding the soft atmosphere characteristic of women's watches of that time.
The indices are simple applied bar indices.
Only the 12 o'clock position features a wider design different from the other indices, serving as a subtle accent on the small dial.
The hands are slender dauphine hands.
They blend naturally with the silver dial while adding a sharp and elegant impression.
The case is a delicate, gold-plated case.
The combination of a small, rounded case and slender lugs creates a light design that naturally fits the wrist.
The gold-colored exterior is not overly assertive, making it a watch that can be worn like an accessory, characteristic of women's watches from the 1960s.
■Movement
The movement is a 17-jewel manual-winding movement.
It is a practical movement typical of Seiko at the time, housed in a small ladies' case.
The simple structure of a manual-winding watch, and the feeling of winding the crown daily, is one of the joys of owning a vintage watch.
■Styling
Case size: Length 33.3mm (including lugs) / Width 29mm (including crown) / Thickness 9.5mm / Weight 22g
For styling, we recommend pairing it with elegant and calm outfits such as blouses, dresses, and beige or ivory knits.
The gold-colored case adds a subtle touch of glamour to your wrist, naturally enhancing a classic aesthetic.
If you prefer a casual look, it also pairs well with cardigans and denim.
Its compact size ensures it's not overly assertive, making it an easy addition to everyday coordination.
■Condition
Regarding the condition, there is some minor damage to the case.
However, it is not significantly noticeable and does not detract from the overall appearance when worn.
Furthermore, the damage does not impede its use, so you can use it with confidence.
There are no notable major scratches on the dial, hands, or crystal, and the watch maintains good overall condition.
The movement also operates smoothly, making it a watch that can be easily incorporated into daily use.

●Important information after purchasing an antique watch, please read carefully●
At RESUME, when selling antique watches, we do not hand them over immediately upon order.
Instead, we request an overhaul (hereinafter referred to as OH) from a specialized craftsman, and deliver the watch after the OH is completed. (This usually takes about 1-2 months.)
A specialized craftsman with a Class 1 watch repair technician qualification will completely disassemble the watch, replace consumable parts such as internal gaskets, clean, and lubricate it.
We will perform a thorough OH to ensure the watch operates with a daily rate of approximately ±1 minute.
When we deliver the watch, we will also include our unique OH certificate, which details the work performed during the OH, along with photographs of the disassembled and serviced movement.
Of course, due to the nature of used products, there is no absolute guarantee that the watch will not break, but we take these measures to allow you to enjoy the original performance of the watch and to use it with peace of mind in the future. We kindly ask for your understanding.
When purchasing a product, we offer a one-year warranty period depending on the model. Even for products whose warranty period has expired, we offer repair services, although they are subject to a fee. Please feel free to contact us even if you do not have a repair shop nearby.
