Introducing the Seiko "Champion Calendar 860 " made in 1963 .
Seiko's history began in 1877 when founder Kintaro Hattori established the Hattori Watch Repair Shop.
While selling and repairing second-hand watches, Mr. Hattori honed his skills at other watch shops and founded the Hattori Watch Shop in 1881 .
In 1892 , the company established a watch manufacturing division called Seikosha with the aim of producing its own watches in-house.
Starting out by manufacturing wall clocks, the company eventually succeeded in developing the first domestically produced pocket watches and wristwatches.
It laid the foundation for Japan's watch industry and has now grown into a company known as "Global Seiko."
The "Champion Calendar 860 ", which appeared in the 1960s , was an improved model based on the three- hand model "Champion" and added a calendar function.
This watch was born at a time when the evolution of domestically produced mechanical watches was accelerating, and it can be said to be one of the most representative examples of this trend.
The dial features a beautiful silver color that reflects light radially.
The indexes are special engraved bar indexes, and the three-dimensional shadows create a classic atmosphere.
It is a well-balanced design that combines high visibility and elegance.
It has a date display at the 3 o'clock position, making it very practical for everyday use.
The case has a smooth round shape, and the polished stainless steel finish enhances its calm elegance.
Simple and beautiful Japanese vintage item that combines practicality with a dressy look.
The Champion Calendar 860 is a timeless piece that will be loved for generations to come.
The movement is a 17- jewel hand-wound Cal.860 .
It has a calendar function and is equipped with a shock-resistant structure called "DiaShock."
This is a movement that is still highly practical in modern times.
In addition, its simple structure makes it easy to maintain, making it a movement that is easy to handle even for those who are handling vintage watches for the first time.
Size: height: 42mm , width: 38.5mm , thickness: 9.5mm , weight: 36g .
It is thin, lightweight, and easy to wear, making it comfortable to wear.
The simple design can be used in a wide range of situations, from business to casual.
If you change from a jacket to a shirt style and replace the belt with a nylon belt, the look will instantly become more casual, so it goes well with a T -shirt.
It's fun to change the strap depending on the season.
Condition: The case has some small scratches from use, but no noticeable dents.
The dial is somewhat aged, but does not affect visibility.
The movement is running smoothly and the calendar function works without any issues.
Equipped with Bambi Scotchguard, Braun.

When selling antique watches at RESUME, we do not immediately hand them over to you when you place your order. Instead, we ask a professional craftsman to overhaul them (hereafter referred to as OH) and deliver them to you after the OH is completed. (This takes about 1 to 2 months.)
A professional craftsman with first-class watch repair technician qualifications will completely disassemble your watch, replace worn parts such as the internal gaskets, clean it, oil it, and perform a thorough overhaul, maintaining it to a daily accuracy of about ±1 minute.
When we deliver the machine, we will also send you our own overhaul certificate, which shows what kind of overhaul was performed, as well as photos of the machine being disassembled and maintained.
Of course, due to the nature of the product itself being a second-hand item, there is no guarantee that it will never break, but we ask for your understanding that we take this approach so that you can enjoy the original performance of the watch and use it with peace of mind in the future.
When you purchase a product, we offer a one-year warranty depending on the model. Even if the warranty period has expired, we will still repair the product for a fee. If there is no repair shop near you, please feel free to contact us.
