Introducing the Seiko "Sportsmatic 5 Deluxe" made in 1966.

From the 1960s to the 1970s, domestic watch manufacturers actively released a variety of models, and the momentum of mechanical watches reached its peak, and Seiko also introduced many models from various perspectives such as design, functionality, and specialized functions. We are selling models.

The Sportsmatic is one of the most representative models of Seiko watches from the 1960s.

This watch was a big hit among young people at the time, as it had full-fledged functions such as automatic winding, day-date, and waterproof case, as well as a wide variety of designs and excellent cost performance.

The "Sportsmatic 5 Deluxe" we are introducing this time is the highest-end machine in the Sportsmatic series.

As the name Deluxe suggests, the dial is an elegant glossy silver dial, and the bar-type upright indexes are all cut to create an elaborate design.

The minute markers are drawn on the inside ring, giving the dial a three-dimensional feel and improving visibility.Since the scale extends to the edge of the dial, the visibility extends to the corners, making the dial appear larger.

The bezel is a fluted bezel which means "vertical stripes".
The fluted bezel instantly elevates the characteristic shine of the chevron cut to a luxurious atmosphere.

The back cover is engraved with a dolphin mark, which is proof that it is a waterproof model.
This is a watch that perfectly balances design and practicality, from the exterior to the details of the dial.

The movement is equipped with a self-winding type Cal.7619A that uses 25 jewels.
This is a high-end model equipped with a hack function that stops the second hand when you pull the crown.
The date can be changed by pressing the push button near the 3 o'clock position.

Made with practicality in mind, this movement is durable and easy to use on a daily basis.

Size: Length: 43mm, Width: 38mm, Thickness: 12.9mm, Weight: 85g.

It is a highly designed watch with detailed decorations, so it goes well with formal attire such as suits and jackets, as well as casual attire such as shirts and jeans, and the design is easy to incorporate into a wide range of styles.

In terms of condition, there are some small scratches on the case, but the edges are still intact.
There are some stain-like marks on the dial between the 10 o'clock and 11 o'clock positions and on the two inside rings near the 2 o'clock position, but there are no problems with visibility.
The movement is working without any problems, and all functions including the hack function are also working.
The clasp on the belt is genuine Seiko, but the belt part is an aftermarket product.
