Introducing the Seiko "150m Diver 2nd Early Model" made in 1968.

The 150m Diver 2nd was manufactured from 1968 to 1976 and can be classified into early and late models.

In particular, the latter model became a hot topic when Japanese adventurer Naoki Uemura carried it with him in 1978 when he attempted a solo dog sled 12,000km around the Arctic Circle.

The fact that it did not break down even under harsh conditions proved to the world the high reliability and performance of this domestically produced diver, and the 2nd Diver became a popular model, collectively known as the ``Uemura Diver.'' To.

As a diver's watch, this watch has proven to the world the high level of technological prowess of domestically produced watches.

The 150m Diver 2nd model we are introducing this time is an early model, and is an extremely rare model that was produced for only one year out of an eight- year manufacturing period.

The major difference from the later models is that there is no crown guard at 4 o'clock.
Since there is no crown guard, the convex part of the case is eliminated, and the distinctive case silhouette is emphasized, giving it a smarter impression than later models.

Next, looking at the dial, as it is a sports model, the indexes and hands are thick and large to ensure visibility.
The indexes are embossed to prevent them from peeling off even if subjected to impact, and the luminous paint is also used to create an impressive design.

Its design, which is immediately recognizable as a 150m diver, not only entertains the viewer, but is also made with practicality in mind, and this design sense is unique and can only be realized by Seiko.

The movement is equipped with Cal.6105A , an automatic winding movement with 17 jewels.
This movement is not only tough enough to withstand even the harsh conditions of Antarctica, but also highly reliable in terms of the precision of a watch.

Equipped with a date function and even a fast-forwarding function, it is a highly practical movement that is easy to use on a daily basis.

The size is length: 47.6mm , width: 40.9mm , thickness 12.6mm .
It has a very voluminous size and has a solid feel unique to divers.

It's thick, so it's so statement-making that you don't need any other accessories.

Since it is a sports model, it goes well with both casual attire and high-tech outdoor wear.
You can also enjoy changing the atmosphere by replacing the belt with a nylon band.

Condition: There are some small scratches on the windshield glass, but there is no problem with visibility.
Because it uses original glass, we purposely use it in this condition.
*If you wish, you can replace it with a windshield (outside company product) when doing OH after purchase.

The case remains firm on its edges and the bezel can be rotated in both directions without issue.

The dial has no corrosion or paint chips, and is finished in an atmosphere typical of an aged vintage watch.
