 This 45 -series machine is a commercial version of a machine that participated in a chronometer competition that competes for watch precision, and won second place in the same competition held in Switzerland in 1967 .

After that, it passed Seiko's own " GS standard" test, which is said to be stricter than the chronometer standard, and boasts a degree of perfection that is also installed in "Grand Seiko".

The case is a gold round case with a KS medal on the back cover.
Both the bar index and the dolphin needle have a black line in the center to improve visibility.
The dial is a radial silver dial, but the color has changed to a vintage ivory tone.
