SEIKO 69's SEVEN STAR Deluxe Cal.5270
SEIKO 69's SEVEN STAR Deluxe Cal.5270
Introducing the 1969 Citizen Seven Star Deluxe.
At the time, Citizen released the "Seven Star Deluxe" to compete with the popular Seiko 5 series.
Like the Seiko 5 , it has five functions - automatic winding, date, day of the week, shock resistance, and water resistance - plus two additional features - a hand-winding function using the crown and a change to a glass windshield - for a total of seven appealing points.
This model was popular among young people because it was available in a variety of designs and had functions that emphasized practicality.
Along with the Seiko 5 , the Seven Star Deluxe is one of the most representative automatic watches made in Japan.
The "Seven Star Deluxe" we are introducing this time is a watch with a refreshing design, featuring an impressive blue inner bezel.
The dial is a light grey with a sunburst finish, and the indexes are specially shaped upright indexes.
The indexes are cut so that when they reflect light they sparkle with a beautiful, jewel-like shine.
The calendar function has an unusual arrangement, with the date at the 3 o'clock position and the day of the week at the 9 o'clock position, but by extending to the left and right, the view of the dial is wider, making the watch appear larger than its actual size.
The biggest feature of this model is the inner bezel that surrounds the dial.
The eye-catching blue inner bezel is raised from the dial, creating a three-dimensional effect and improving visibility.
The Seven Star Deluxe has a clear glass windshield that gives it a refreshing feel.
The movement is a 21 jewel automatic, Cal. 5270 .
It has a highly practical movement with a stable automatic winding mechanism, calendar function, shock resistance, and water resistance, making it easy to use even for those who are new to vintage watches.
Size: Height: 41.8mm , Width: 37.4mm , Thickness: 10.6mm , Weight:
The case size is slightly smaller, so it is easy to wear even for those with thin wrists.
The casual design goes well with shirts, T- shirts, and even high-tech wear.
The condition of the case is good with only minor scratches from use, and the edges remain firm.
The dial is in beautiful condition with no signs of wear.
The movement is working fine and all functions, including the calendar, work.
During the initial check, the glass windshield is replaced with a genuine new glass windshield.
