Introducing the Seiko " 5 Actus" made in 1970 .

The 5 Actus is a model derived from the Seiko 5 and was launched in 1970 as a series targeted at young people.

Although it is an affordable watch, it has various functions such as automatic winding, water resistance, and day-date, and it comes in a wide variety of designs.

The 5 Actus was a popular watch among young people because it was a watch that was aimed at new workers and young people at the time, with young people featured in advertisements to reflect changes in people's lifestyles.

The " SS " at the 6 o'clock position is an abbreviation for Second Setting .

The " 5 Actus" we are introducing this time is a rare watch with an ice blue dial.

The ice blue dial has a sunburst finish, which creates a distinctive gradation when light is reflected, giving the watch a sense of depth and three-dimensionality.

The windshield is made of cut glass.
The glass crystal makes the dial look clear, so it goes well with the ice blue dial, further accentuating its sharp look.

The case has a symmetrical design, with the crown at 4 o'clock built into the body.
The watch has a built-in crown, making it comfortable to wear and allowing you to enjoy the beautiful, smooth case lines.

The 5 Actus is simple yet makes the most of the dignified atmosphere of the ice blue dial.

The movement is a 23 jewel automatic, Cal. 6106C .

In addition to the automatic winding mechanism, it is equipped with a shock-resistant device and a hack function that stops the second hand when the crown is pulled.
Both the day of the week and the date of the calendar can be changed by turning the crown.

This is a very easy-to-use movement designed for everyday use.

Size: height: 41.8mm , width: 39.5mm , thickness: 12.2mm , weight: 65g .

The simple yet stylish design goes well with casual clothing such as sweatshirts and denim jackets, as well as tech fashion made from high-tech materials.

The condition of the case is good with the edges still intact and no noticeable scratches.
The dial is in good condition with no corrosion or stains.
The movement is working fine and all functions such as the calendar work without any problems.
During the initial check, the crystal is replaced with a new original SEIKO crystal.

When selling antique watches at RESUME, we do not immediately hand over the watch to you upon receiving your order. Instead, we ask a professional craftsman to overhaul it (hereinafter referred to as OH) and deliver it to you after the OH is completed. (This takes about 1 to 2 months.)

A professional craftsman with first-class watch repair technician qualifications will completely disassemble your watch, replace worn parts such as the internal gaskets, clean it, oil it, and perform a thorough overhaul, maintaining it to a daily accuracy of about ±1 minute.

When we deliver the machine, we will also send you our own overhaul certificate, which shows what kind of overhaul we performed, as well as photos of the machine being disassembled and maintained.

Of course, due to the nature of the product itself being a second-hand item, there is no guarantee that it will never break, but we ask for your understanding that we take this approach so that you can enjoy the original performance of the watch and use it with peace of mind in the future.

When you purchase a product, we offer a one-year warranty depending on the model. Even if the warranty period has expired, we will properly repair the product, but there will be a fee. If there is no repair shop near you, please feel free to contact us.
