Introducing the Seiko " 56 King Seiko" made in 1971 .

Seiko began in 1877 when its founder, Kintaro Hattori, established the Hattori Watch Repair Shop.

Initially, he sold and repaired used watches, while also working as a repairman at other watch shops, striving to improve his skills, and four years later, in 1881 , he founded the "Hattori Watch Shop."
Initially, the company focused on selling and repairing imported watches, but in 1892 , in order to utilize the technology it had cultivated up until then, it established a watch manufacturing division called Seikosha.

Seiko began by manufacturing wall clocks and went on to successfully develop the first domestically produced pocket watches and wristwatches, building the foundations of Japan's watch industry.
Now, the company has earned the title of "Seiko of the World."

The 56 King Seiko is a commemorative watch that was the first domestically produced automatic watch to receive official chronometer certification.
For this reason, the words " CHRONOMETER OFFICIALLY CERTIFIED " are placed at the 12 o'clock position.

The dial is a silver dial with a sunray finish that reflects light beautifully.
The distinctive hands are a simple bar hand for the hour hand and a black-painted minute hand, giving the watch a sharp look.
The use of different needle designs provides a unique design and improves visibility.

The case is a one-piece case that is highly waterproof and airtight.
The medallion on the back of the watch features a special edition medal with the chronometer engraved on it.

In addition, the case design, which emphasizes the surfaces and edges, and the distortion-free luster of this watch highlight the refined beauty of the watch.

The 56 King Seiko is attractive for its sharpness and dignified look reminiscent of a Japanese sword.

The movement is equipped with automatic winding.

It is an officially certified chronometer, so it boasts high precision.
This is a highly practical movement, with a hack function that stops the second hand and a calendar function that allows the day and date to be fast-forwarded by operating the crown.

Size: height: 41.7mm , width: 37.4mm , thickness: 10.6mm .

It's compact in size so it fits very comfortably on your wrist.

The simple design makes it suitable for a wide range of occasions, from business to casual.
Therefore, it goes well with a variety of coordinated suits and shirt styles, as well as denim jackets and leather jackets.

The case is in good condition with no noticeable scratches.
The glass windshield was replaced with a new one during the initial check.
There is some aging at the 12 o'clock, 6 o'clock and center of the dial, but this does not affect visibility.
The movement is running smoothly and all functions, including the calendar, work without any issues.

When selling antique watches at RESUME, we do not immediately hand them over to you when you place your order. Instead, we ask a professional craftsman to overhaul them (hereafter referred to as OH) and deliver them to you after the OH is completed. (This takes about 1 to 2 months.)

A professional craftsman with first-class watch repair technician qualifications will completely disassemble your watch, replace worn parts such as the internal gaskets, clean it, oil it, and perform a thorough overhaul, maintaining it to a daily accuracy of about ±1 minute.

When we deliver the machine, we will also send you our own overhaul certificate, which shows what kind of overhaul was performed, as well as photos of the machine being disassembled and maintained.

Of course, due to the nature of the product itself being a second-hand item, there is no guarantee that it will never break, but we ask for your understanding that we take this approach so that you can enjoy the original performance of the watch and use it with peace of mind in the future.

When you purchase a product, we offer a one-year warranty depending on the model. Even if the warranty period has expired, we will still repair the product for a fee. If there is no repair shop near you, please feel free to contact us.
