SEIKO 76's 5SPORTS Speed Timer Cal.6139B
SEIKO 76's 5SPORTS Speed Timer Cal.6139B
Introducing the Seiko " 5 Sports Speed Timer" made in 1976 .
The Speed Timer was released by Seiko in 1969 as the world's first chronograph (stopwatch) wristwatch equipped with an automatic winding mechanism.
At the time, chronographs had very complex structures and were produced in small numbers, so they were generally hand-wound and installed in high-end models.
However, the caliber 6139 developed by Seiko uses a magic lever and has achieved high productivity and significant cost reductions by simplifying the manufacturing process as much as possible while maintaining excellent winding efficiency and precision.
This model was also included in the `` 5 Sports'' line for young people, and was a big hit due to its casual design and reasonable price.
The " 5 Sports Speed Timer" we are introducing this time is a model that has one sub-dial and is commonly known as the " First Chrono".
The dial is eye-catching with its vivid orange dial and black bar indexes and chronograph hands.
The sub-dial at 6 o'clock is a 30 -minute counter, and when you press the push button at 2 o'clock, the central chronograph hand operates, and the sub-dial hand moves every minute , allowing you to measure 30 minutes. .
The finely engraved minute markers on the subdials and outer periphery, and the movement of the chronograph hands are reminiscent of cockpit instruments, and the design tickles the man's heart.
The movement is equipped with a 21- jewel automatic winding Cal.6139B .
It is a highly practical movement that uses Seiko's unique automatic winding mechanism, the "Magic Lever" method, and boasts high winding efficiency and precision.
The days of the week are alternately written in English and Roman numerals, and can be switched along with the date by operating the crown.
Size: Height: 42.1mm , Width: 39.7mm , Thickness: 13.7mm , Weight: 105g .
The volume is just right for ordinary men to wear, and the pop coloring brightens up your arms.
The design goes well with sweats, hoodies, tech wear, etc., and is easy to match with casual styles.
In terms of condition, the case has firm edges and no noticeable scratches.
There is a slight scratch on the glass windshield near the 6 o'clock position, but there is no problem with visibility.
The dial is in good condition with no wear or stains.
The movement is working without any problems, and the chronograph is also working without problems.
Comes with a genuine Seiko metal bracelet.
