SEIKO 76's ACTUS Silver Wave Cal.6306A
SEIKO 76's ACTUS Silver Wave Cal.6306A
Introducing the Seiko "Actus Silver Wave" made in 1976 .
From the 1960s to the 1970s , domestic watch manufacturers energetically released a variety of models, and mechanical watches reached their peak.
Seiko also sells a large number of models from various perspectives such as design, functionality, and specialized functions.
The Actus was popular among young people at the time because of its sporty design, and the Silver Wave was a watch that was loved by people of all generations because of its high waterproof performance and simple, elegant design.
Both of these models are representative models of Seiko's 1960s and 1970s , and are one of the most representative models that enlivened Seiko at the time.
The Actus Silver Wave that we are introducing this time is a watch designed as a double name for both "Actus" and "Silver Wave" models.
Like the Silver Wave, the case specifications are made with water resistance in mind, with a screw-back case back and a screw-down crown at 4 o'clock.
It has sufficient airtightness and waterproof performance for daily life.
Next, looking at the design, the special dial with a houndstooth pattern catches the eye.
The embossed houndstooth pattern creates shadows depending on how the light hits it, making the dial look three-dimensional.
Also, if you look at the lug part, it has a round shape that covers the belt connection part.
The thick and powerfully designed lugs have the functionality of preventing failures such as lug breakage, while also achieving a distinctive design that makes the watch and strap appear to be integrated.
The movement is equipped with a 21- jewel automatic winding Cal.6306A .
It is equipped with day of the week and date functions, and both can be fast-forwarded by operating the crown.
It is also equipped with a hack function to stop the second hand and an anti-earthquake device.
A movement that combines precision, durability, and practicality.
Size: Length: 42.1mm , Width: 37.8mm , Thickness: 10.9mm , Weight: 54g
The design uses many curves, so it goes well with casual attire.
Also, replacing the belt with a nylon band will give it an even more sporty feel, making it an interesting pairing with high-tech wear.
As for condition, there are some small scratches on the case, but there are no problems with use.
The lettering has some dirt at the 3 o'clock position, but visibility is maintained.
Movement works well. Each function works without problems.
