Introducing the Seiko "Unique" made in 1957 .
The Seiko "Unique" is one of Seiko's series of hand-wound watches produced mainly in the 1950s .
This model symbolizes the development of domestically made watches in the immediate post-war period.
As the name suggests, this watch was simple for its time, yet had unique design elements, and was released as a high - quality standard model among Seiko's models of the time.
"Unique" is an ambitious hand-wound model created by Seiko.
The dial is an ivory-tinged white dial.
The aging that has occurred over the years brings out a vintage look.
The index is based on a delicate bar type, with three-dimensional Arabic numerals at the 12 and 6 o'clock positions.
The " S " mark at the 12 o'clock position is a distinctive design seen only on early production runs, and although small, it attracts attention.
The gold-colored dolphin hands add warmth and elegance to the simple dial, giving the overall impression a classic feel.
Combined with the dome-shaped crystal that curves gently from the center to the outer periphery, it creates soft shadows depending on the amount of light that hits it.
It is a "unique" product with a quiet presence and the careful craftsmanship that is typical of Japanese products.
The movement is a hand-wound type.
It is a highly refined movement with stable durability and precision, which would become the foundation for later popular movements.
Size: height: 36.1mm , width: 32.7mm , thickness: 9.7mm , weight: 29g .
The small, round shape typical of the 50s is a size that can be worn easily by people with thin wrists and women.
The elegant design makes this a great pairing with slightly more formal outfits such as suits and jackets.
The condition of the case is excellent, with only a few small scratches from use, and no noticeable scratches or chips.
The dial has changed due to aging, but this does not affect visibility.
The movement is running smoothly.

When selling antique watches at RESUME, we do not immediately hand over the watch to you upon receiving your order. Instead, we ask a professional craftsman to overhaul it (hereinafter referred to as OH) and deliver it to you after the OH is completed. (This takes about 1 to 2 months.)
A professional craftsman with first-class watch repair technician qualifications will completely disassemble your watch, replace worn parts such as the internal gaskets, clean it, oil it, and perform a thorough overhaul, maintaining it to a daily accuracy of about ±1 minute.
When we deliver the machine, we will also send you our own overhaul certificate, which shows what kind of overhaul was performed, as well as photos of the machine being disassembled and maintained.
Of course, due to the nature of the product itself being a second-hand item, there is no guarantee that it will never break, but we ask for your understanding that we take this approach so that you can enjoy the original performance of the watch and use it with peace of mind in the future.
When you purchase a product, we offer a one-year warranty depending on the model. Even if the warranty period has expired, we will properly repair the product, but there will be a fee. If there is no repair shop near you, please feel free to contact us.
