However, Seiko, which continued development at a rapid pace with a global perspective, leveraged its development experience with the highly accurate "Marvel" and the first luxury model "Lord Marvel", and finally achieved the same level as the Swiss chronometer inspection standard excellent grade. succeed in meeting the criteria.

At the time of its release, watches with a high degree of accuracy (within an average daily difference of -3 to +12 seconds) were considered acceptable products, and were released with a certificate. Even today, more than 60 years later, the GS remains Seiko's flagship. It continues to be a ship model.

The " GS Self Data" we are introducing this time is the second model equipped with Seiko's unique fast-date adjustment device and is waterproof.

The second model can be classified into early and late models, but this model has a chronometer notation and the case back falls under the early model with a lion medal.

The silver dial has a sunray finish that reflects light radially.
The upright bar index and dolphin hands are the same silver color as the dial, creating a sense of unity.

The movement is equipped with a 35 jewel, hand-wound Cal.430 .

The calendar can be fast forwarded by operating the crown.

We will also send you our own OH certificate, as well as photos of the machine when it was disassembled and serviced, to show you what kind of work was done during the OH upon delivery.
