Introducing the 1957 Crown "Crown Special."

The Crown, which was introduced in 1959 , is a series that laid the foundation for domestically produced luxury watches, and is an important part of Seiko's history, which led to the later Grand Seiko.

The "Crown Special" was positioned as the higher-end model.

Equipped with the highly accurate Cal. 341 movement and a high-quality exterior, this model was developed as one of the perfect examples of the " luxury dress watch " that Seiko was aiming for at the time.

The Crown Special features a slightly ivory sunray-finished silver dial that gives it a soft look that only comes with aging.

The combination of multi-faceted bar indexes and powerful dolphin hands creates a classic and elegant appearance.

The " SEIKO CROWN Special " logo at the 12 o'clock position is a design characteristic of higher-end models that incorporates cursive writing.
The “23 JEWELS” inscription at 6 o’clock quietly asserts that this is a high-precision watch.

The gold-plated round case features a slim design with three-dimensional lines.
The straight lugs naturally conform to the wrist, providing both elegance and comfort.

The details, such as the S mark on the crown and the engraved case back, show the attention to detail typical of high-end models of the time.

The movement is a hand-wound Cal. 341 with 23 jewels.

This is a high-end caliber developed exclusively for the Crown Special, and features a high-precision design with a shock-resistant device called "Diashock."

Case size: height: 44.7mm , width: 37.9mm , thickness: 9.8mm , weight: 41g .

The thin design and soft gold tone create an appealing balance that suits both dressy and casual styles.

It goes naturally with jackets and shirts, as well as denim jackets and chinos.
The size is easy to wear for both men and women.

The case is in good condition with no noticeable scratches or damage.

The dial is in excellent condition with no noticeable wear or corrosion.
The movement is running smoothly and there are no problems with use.

Equipped with Bambi Scotchgard, brown.

Please be sure to read the following information after purchasing an antique watch.

When selling antique watches at RESUME, we do not immediately hand over the watch to you upon receiving your order. Instead, we have a professional overhaul (hereinafter referred to as OH) the watch, and then we deliver it to you after the OH is completed. (This takes about 1-2 months.)

Our specialized craftsmen, who are first-class watch repair technicians, will completely disassemble your watch, replace worn parts such as internal gaskets, clean it, oil it, and perform a thorough overhaul, maintaining it to a daily accuracy of about ±1 minute.
When we deliver the machine to you, we will also send you our own overhaul certificate, which will show you what kind of overhaul work was done on the machine, as well as photos of the machine being disassembled and serviced.

Of course, since the product itself is a second-hand item, there is no guarantee that it will never break, but we ask for your understanding that we have taken this approach so that you can enjoy the watch's inherent performance and use it with peace of mind in the future.

When you purchase a product, we offer a one-year warranty depending on the model. Even if the warranty period has expired, we will still repair the product, but there will be a fee. Even if there is no repair shop nearby, please feel free to contact us.
