Introducing the Seiko "Roadmatic" made in 1968 .

The Roadmatic, which was introduced in 1968 , is one of Seiko's proud automatic mechanical watches.

Equipped with a thin, high-precision movement, this model combined practicality with stylish design and was extremely popular, especially in the 1970s .

This is a famous Seiko model that was developed at the same time as Grand Seiko and King Seiko, and is known only to those in the know.

The Roadmatic was Seiko's high-end model, developed from 1968 to the 1970s .
Not only does it offer excellent precision and practicality, but it is also known as a model with a wide range of design variations.

The watch we are introducing this time features a white dial that gives a lustrous and soft impression.
The surface of the dial has a vertical hairline finish, giving it a subdued luster that enhances its elegance.
The simple bar indexes and bar hands harmonize to create a finish that is both visible and beautiful.

The 3 o'clock position features a day-date display in English and Chinese characters.
The day of the week is displayed in black for weekdays, blue for Saturdays, and red for Sundays, making it both practical and fun.

The case has a rounded base, but also has sharp edges towards the lugs, giving it an attractive, well-balanced design.
The flowing lines from the bezel to the case show different expressions depending on the angle.
It also features a one-piece structure without a back cover, which makes it highly waterproof and airtight.

Its minimalist yet meticulously calculated design truly embodies the "aesthetics of subtraction."
The Roadmatic is a watch unique to Seiko that allows you to fully experience the perfection of a vintage Japanese watch.

The movement is a 23- jewel automatic movement ( Cal. 5606 series).

Although it is thin, it boasts stable precision and has earned a high level of trust from the time to the present day.

The day of the week and date can be fast-forwarded by operating the crown, and the day of the week can be switched between English and Chinese characters.

Size: height: 40.5mm , width: 36.5mm , thickness: 9.9mm , weight: 67g .

The thin, compact case size is comfortable to wear and designed to reduce fatigue even when worn for long periods of time.
The elegant design can be used in a wide range of situations, both business and casual.

It can be easily incorporated into a variety of fashion styles, including suits, shirts, and plain T- shirts.

Condition: The case has some small scratches from use, but no major scratches.
The dial is in good condition with no blemishes or stains.
The movement is running smoothly and without any issues.
The calendar function is also available.

It is equipped with a genuine Seiko metal bracelet.

When selling antique watches at RESUME, we do not immediately hand over the watch to you upon receiving your order. Instead, we ask a professional craftsman to overhaul it (hereinafter referred to as OH) and deliver it to you after the OH is completed. (This takes about 1 to 2 months.)

A professional craftsman with first-class watch repair technician qualifications will completely disassemble your watch, replace worn parts such as the internal gaskets, clean it, oil it, and perform a thorough overhaul, maintaining it to a daily accuracy of about ±1 minute.
When we deliver the machine, we will also send you our own overhaul certificate, which shows what kind of overhaul was performed, as well as photos of the machine being disassembled and maintained.

Of course, due to the nature of the product itself being a second-hand item, there is no guarantee that it will never break, but we ask for your understanding that we take this approach so that you can enjoy the original performance of the watch and use it with peace of mind in the future.

When you purchase a product, we offer a one-year warranty depending on the model. Even if the warranty period has expired, we will properly repair the product, but there will be a fee. If there is no repair shop near you, please feel free to contact us.
