Introducing the Seiko " 45 King Seiko" made in 1969 .
"King Seiko" (hereinafter referred to as KS ) was released by Daini Seikosha (Kameido Factory) in 1961 based on the philosophy of "creating a Japanese-made watch with precision that rivals Swiss watches."
The year before, Suwa Seikosha had released the "Grand Seiko" (hereafter referred to as GS ). While GS aimed to be the " best wristwatch, " KS was a model that maintained high precision while achieving a more reasonable price by simplifying some of the design and specifications.
For this reason, it is sometimes considered a "cheap version" compared to the GS , but the movement it is equipped with is smaller yet boasts the same level of precision as the GS .
King Seiko is considered to be the pinnacle of Seiko's lineup alongside Grand Seiko.
Its capabilities and presence make it worthy of being called a masterpiece representing Japan.
"King Seiko" was renowned as Seiko's luxury line from the 1960s to the 1970s .
This model is a " high beat " model equipped with a high vibration movement, and is a watch that combines precision and elegance.
The case is a cushion case type with a CAP GOLD (gold-plated) finish.
The softly curved lug shape and moderate thickness give the watch a rich presence on the wrist, creating an appearance that is classic yet elegant and contemporary.
The dial is a silver dial with slight vertical and horizontal stripes.
The appearance changes subtly depending on the angle of the light, giving it a sophisticated vintage feel.
The three-dimensionally set bar indexes have a sharp finish, achieving both visibility and aesthetic appeal.
The three-dimensional logo at the 12 o'clock position and the " KS " and " HI-BEAT " markings at the 6 o'clock position give this watch an unmistakable presence that is unique to high-end models.
A simple piece, yet packed with attention to detail.
The " 45 King Seiko" allows you to fully enjoy the details and technology of Japanese-made wristwatches.
The movement is a 25 jewel automatic, Cal. 4500A.
The high-beat movement boasts high precision due to its excellent isochronism.
In addition to its precision, this is a renowned movement that Seiko is proud of, created with practical aspects in mind, such as durability that can withstand daily use, stable operation, and ease of maintenance.
Size: height: 41.2mm , width: 40.3mm , thickness: 9.0mm , weight: 44g .
Because it is a cushion case, it is a little large in size.
The classic and elegant design goes well with formal attire such as jackets and slacks, as well as casual styles such as BD shirts, chinos, and loafers.
The beautiful gold-plated case adds a touch of glamour to your wrist.
The condition of the case is good, with some small scratches from use, but no noticeable scratches or peeling gold.
The medallion on the back cover is in good condition with no chips.
The dial is in beautiful condition with no blemishes or stains.
The movement is running smoothly and the hacking functions work without any problems.
