Introducing the Seiko " 56 King Seiko" made in 1969 .
Seiko developed the Grand Seiko and King Seiko models, which competed for the top spot among high-end domestic watches, and the 56 King Seiko with high-beat specifications was born as the culmination of these efforts.
The Cal. 56 series movement, which was introduced in 1968 , achieved high precision at 28,800 vibrations per hour and was highly praised as a highly practical mechanism that combined automatic winding, a date function, and a slim design.
The production period was short, just a few years, and the dial designs and case variations are diverse, making it a highly collectible series today.
The 56 King Seiko has an elegant look with a deep navy blue dial and classic Roman indexes.
Among the 56 King Seiko models, many of which feature bar indexes, models with Roman typefaces are rare and stand out for their dressy design.
Combined with slender pencil hands, it creates a calm and intellectual atmosphere while ensuring visibility.
The " KS HI-BEAT " inscription at the 6 o'clock position subtly asserts the precision and class that only a high-beat watch can offer.
The case has a rounded tonneau shape, giving it a design that exudes the presence typical of King Seiko watches of the time.
The exterior is fully polished, giving it a mirror-like metallic luster that shines beautifully on the wrist.
This model features a one-piece case structure without a back cover, which is a major feature as it ensures excellent water resistance and durability.
The design features unique to high-end models are still present, such as the " KS " logo on the crown and the gold medallion on the back.
The movement is an automatic Cal.56 series.
It is known as a masterpiece with a highly sophisticated structure, combining thinness with ease of maintenance, and is an important presence that served as the basis for later domestically produced automatic movements.
It also has a manual winding mechanism and a hacking function, making it easy to use for everyday use.
Size: Height: 40.4mm , Width: 37.7mm , Thickness: 10.2mm , Weight: 47g .
The classic look created by the Roman indexes and deep navy dial goes perfectly with jacket styles and shirts.
Although it has a dressier impression, the tonneau case has just the right amount of presence, so it blends naturally with casual outfits such as knitwear and denim.
The condition of the case is good with only minor scratches due to use and no noticeable scratches or damage.
The dial is in excellent condition with no wear or corrosion.
The movement is running smoothly and there are no issues with use.
*During overhaul, the crystal will be replaced with a new one, so the thickness and design of the crystal may change slightly.
