Introducing the Seiko "Roadmatic" made in 1971 .
The Roadmatic, which was introduced in 1968 , is one of Seiko's proud automatic mechanical watches.
Equipped with a thin, high-precision movement, this model combined practicality with stylish design and was extremely popular, especially in the 1970s .
This is a famous Seiko model that was developed at the same time as Grand Seiko and King Seiko, and is known only to those in the know.
The Roadmatic is also known as a model that was developed in a wide variety of designs from the time it was released until the end of production.
The piece we are introducing this time is an impressive piece with a deep green dial that changes appearance depending on the angle of the light.
The tone changes slightly from the center to the edge, giving the piece a calm, deep beauty, like light shining into the depths of a forest.
The index is a three-dimensional bar type with multi-faceted cuts.
While ensuring visibility, the sharp edges tighten up the entire dial, giving it a classic yet modern sharpness.
The calendar function, which has the day of the week and date, is color-coded with weekdays black, Saturdays blue, and Sundays red, achieving a high level of both visibility and design.
The case has a rounded shape.
The simple structure features beautiful surfaces and sharp edges, and careful finishing can be seen throughout.
The proportions when viewed from the side are also beautiful, and the watch fits naturally around the wrist.
A piece that exudes refined serenity and a distinct personality.
Please take the time to experience the charm of Seiko's masterpiece, the Roadmatic.
The movement is a 23- jewel automatic movement ( Cal. 5606 series).
Although it is thin, it boasts stable precision and has earned a high level of trust from the time to the present day.
The day of the week and date can be fast-forwarded by operating the crown, and the day of the week can be switched between English and Chinese characters.
Size: Height: 41mm , Width: 38mm , Thickness: 9.1mm.
The thin, compact case size is comfortable to wear and designed to reduce fatigue even when worn for long periods of time.
The elegant design can be used in a wide range of situations, both business and casual.
It can be easily incorporated into a variety of fashion styles, including suits, shirts, and plain T- shirts.
This is a versatile vintage watch that can be worn in any situation.
The condition of the case is excellent, with only minor scratches from use and no noticeable scratches or dents.
The dial is in beautiful condition as it was at the time, and there are no problems with visibility.
The movement is running smoothly and the calendar function is working without any issues.
Equipped with Bambi Scotchguard and Wine.

When selling antique watches at RESUME, we do not immediately hand them over to you when you place your order. Instead, we ask a professional craftsman to overhaul them (hereafter referred to as OH) and deliver them to you after the OH is completed. (This takes about 1 to 2 months.)
A professional craftsman with first-class watch repair technician qualifications will completely disassemble your watch, replace worn parts such as the internal gaskets, clean it, oil it, and perform a thorough overhaul, maintaining it to a daily accuracy of about ±1 minute.
When we deliver the machine, we will also send you our own overhaul certificate, which shows what kind of overhaul was performed, as well as photos of the machine being disassembled and maintained.
Of course, due to the nature of the product itself being a second-hand item, there is no guarantee that it will never break, but we ask for your understanding that we take this approach so that you can enjoy the original performance of the watch and use it with peace of mind in the future.
When you purchase a product, we offer a one-year warranty depending on the model. Even if the warranty period has expired, we will still repair the product for a fee. If there is no repair shop near you, please feel free to contact us.
