Introducing the Seiko "Sportmatic 5 Deluxe" made in 1977 .
Among the "Seiko 5 " series that appeared in the late 1960s , the " 5DX (Five Deluxe)" was developed as a high-end model that was one step above the rest.
Compared to the regular 5 Series, it had a higher quality finish and parts configuration, and while it offered more quality than entry-level models, it was a well-balanced model that was not as priced as luxury models such as Grand Seiko, and it gained widespread support at the time.
This model belongs to Seiko's masterpiece "Sportmatic Deluxe" series, and is one of the series that combined functionality and design at a high level among domestically produced watches at the time.
This is a rare model from the final period of the series, produced towards the end of the 1970s , and its sporty yet dressy appearance is a major attraction.
The dial is a silver dial with a beautiful radial luster.
It has an elegant finish that changes its appearance subtly depending on the angle of the light.
The index is a three-dimensional bar index, and the day of the week is displayed in red only for Sunday, using the so-called "Sunday red" style.
It combines high visibility with a vintage feel.
The three-dimensional logo mark symbolizing the " 5 " series is placed at the 12 o'clock position, and the word " Deluxe " is placed at the 6 o'clock position.
These design details show that this is a high-end model.
The case is made of stainless steel and features an impressive sharp lug shape.
The perfect size and well-balanced form blends in naturally with modern styles.
The back cover is still engraved with the words " Water Proof " and a dolphin mark, a fascinating detail that conveys the specifications of the time to the present day.
This watch has the unique charm of a vintage piece, but is also suitable for everyday use.
It is recommended not only for collections but also as your first vintage watch.
The movement is equipped with a 25- jewel automatic winding Cal. 7619A .
This is a high-end movement equipped with a hack function that stops the second hand by pulling the crown.
It has a practical design that allows for quick date changes by pressing the push button near the 3 o'clock position, and its structure is excellent in terms of precision, durability, and ease of maintenance, making it suitable for everyday use.
The size is 43.9mm in height, 37.9mm in width, 12.8mm in thickness, and weighs 62g .
The elegant design is suitable for a wide range of occasions, from business to casual.
It goes well with suits, shirts, plain T- shirts, and more, making it easy to incorporate into a variety of fashion styles.
The condition is good, with no noticeable scratches or chips on the case and in beautiful condition.
The dial is in excellent condition with no signs of wear or dirt.
The movement is running smoothly and the calendar and hacking functions work without any issues.

When selling antique watches at RESUME, we do not immediately hand over the watch to you upon receiving your order. Instead, we ask a professional craftsman to overhaul it (hereinafter referred to as OH) and deliver it to you after the OH is completed. (This takes about 1 to 2 months.)
A professional craftsman with first-class watch repair technician qualifications will completely disassemble your watch, replace worn parts such as the internal gaskets, clean it, oil it, and perform a thorough overhaul, maintaining it to a daily accuracy of about ±1 minute.
When we deliver the machine, we will also send you our own overhaul certificate, which shows what kind of overhaul was performed, as well as photos of the machine being disassembled and maintained.
Of course, due to the nature of the product itself being a second-hand item, there is no guarantee that it will never break, but we ask for your understanding that we take this approach so that you can enjoy the original performance of the watch and use it with peace of mind in the future.
