Introducing the Tissot "Antimagnetic" from the 1950s .

Tissot was founded in 1853 in Le Locle, in the Vallée de Joux in Switzerland.
Although the company initially started out as a small watch workshop, it has grown significantly through its insatiable passion for product development and unconventional management style.

In 1930 , the company released the world's first antimagnetic watch, the "Antimagnetic."
In 1953 , the company released the Navigator, which was equipped with a world time function and became a worldwide hit.

In addition, in 1930 , together with Omega, they established the Swiss Watch Industry Corporation ( SSHI ), exerting a major influence on the Swiss watch industry as a whole.

Although the company currently operates under the umbrella of the Swatch Group, the tradition of the Tissot family, which has produced many genuine watchmakers, lives on to this day and continues to produce fascinating watches.

"Antimagnetic" had magnetic properties that were revolutionary at the time.
This is one of Tissot's masterpieces that combines functional beauty with a classic appearance.

The dial is a classic bull's eye dial.
The center is a slightly lighter gray and the outer edge is a deep black, and the color has faded slightly over time, giving it a unique style.

The delicate gold circle line that separates the center from the outer periphery combines visibility with decorativeness, emphasizing an elegant impression.

The upright Arabic indexes are finished in gold color and create a three-dimensional effect when exposed to light.

The leaf hands have also become more subdued in tone over time, blending into the overall look with a sense of unity.

A small second hand with a circular railway minute scale is located at the 6 o'clock position.

The attention to detail speaks to the meticulous craftsmanship of watchmaking during this period.
The Antimagnetic features a classical design condensed into a compact case size, giving it an overwhelming presence.

The movement is a hand-wound movement.

Equipped with the world's first magnetic hairspring, the "Antimagnetic."
It also has an anti-shock device, making it a highly practical movement even in modern times.

Size: height: 38.4mm , width: 33.5mm , thickness: 9.9mm , weight: 34g .

The compact case size makes it easy for people with thin wrists and women to wear without any problems.

The classic and casual design means that it blends in well with military items such as oxfords, BD shirts, band collar shirts, and field jackets without being overly assertive.

The case is in good condition with no noticeable scratches.
The dial is in excellent condition with no marks or stains and excellent visibility.
The movement is operating smoothly.

When selling antique watches at RESUME, we do not immediately hand them over to you when you place your order. Instead, we ask a professional craftsman to overhaul them (hereafter referred to as OH) and deliver them to you after the OH is completed. (This takes about 1 to 2 months.)

A professional craftsman with first-class watch repair technician qualifications will completely disassemble your watch, replace worn parts such as the internal gaskets, clean it, oil it, and perform a thorough overhaul, maintaining it to a daily accuracy of about ±1 minute.
When we deliver the machine, we will also send you our own overhaul certificate, which shows what kind of overhaul was performed, as well as photos of the machine being disassembled and maintained.

Of course, due to the nature of the product itself being a second-hand item, there is no guarantee that it will never break, but we ask for your understanding that we take this approach so that you can enjoy the original performance of the watch and use it with peace of mind in the future.

When you purchase a product, we offer a one-year warranty depending on the model. Even if the warranty period has expired, we will still repair the product for a fee. If there is no repair shop near you, please feel free to contact us.
