Introducing the Tudor "Oyster" from the 1950s .

In the 1930s , Tudor was born as a second brand in order to increase Rolex's recognition and expand its sales market.

At the time, Rolex was headquartered in the UK, so they began selling to British citizens.
Although it is a second brand, Tudor, which has good cost performance despite its advanced manufacturing technology and bears the name of a famous British dynasty, quickly became popular and widely accepted by British citizens, achieving the original goal of increasing awareness of Rolex.

Currently, based on the technical capabilities it has cultivated over the years, it has become independent from Rolex, breaking away from being a second brand and is active as a brand that is on its own path.

The "Oyster" we are introducing this time is a watch that catches the eye with its beautiful aging on the dial.

The dial, which was originally white, has changed to a vintage beige color over the 70 years since.
The color gets darker from the outer edge to the center, creating a tasteful color scheme as if it was a two-tone dial from the beginning.

The hands used are alpha hands, which are characterized by their sharp edges.
The index is an upright wedge-shaped index with an unusual design that has a recess in the center.
The depressions create an uneven appearance in the index, which accentuates the shadows when exposed to light, creating a three-dimensional effect on the dial.

In addition, cute dot indexes are placed around the outer edge of the dial.

The classic and dazzling design is not found in current watches and is a perfect match for the Oyster case with its beautiful, flowing curves.

Bearing the same name as the former British dynasty, this Oyster is endowed with a dignity befitting its name.

The movement is a 21 jewel hand-wound type.

It features beautiful plating and a sunburst finish on the gears that reflects light radially, and is designed to look beautiful even on its own as a machine.

The movement boasts a level of stability that makes it hard to believe it is from the 1950s , making it easy to use on an everyday basis.

Size: height: 40.9mm , width: 37.3mm , thickness: 10mm , weight: 41g .

It is the perfect size for the average adult male's arm, and its thickness of 10mm means you won't have to worry about the sleeves getting caught when wearing a jacket.

The aged dial has an overwhelming presence, but the simple case design means it can be incorporated into a wide range of outfits and can be used in any situation, from business to casual.

Condition: The case is in good condition with only minor scratches.
The dial is aged, but there is no peeling or other damage, so visibility is not an issue.
The movement is in good working order with no rust.

When selling antique watches at RESUME, we do not immediately hand them over to you when you place your order. Instead, we ask a professional craftsman to overhaul them (hereafter referred to as OH) and deliver them to you after the OH is completed. (This takes about 1 to 2 months.)

A professional craftsman with first-class watch repair technician qualifications will completely disassemble your watch, replace worn parts such as the internal gaskets, clean it, oil it, and perform a thorough overhaul, maintaining it to a daily accuracy of about ±1 minute.
When we deliver the machine, we will also send you our own overhaul certificate, which shows what kind of overhaul was performed, as well as photos of the machine being disassembled and maintained.

Of course, due to the nature of the product itself being a second-hand item, there is no guarantee that it will never break, but we ask for your understanding that we take this approach so that you can enjoy the original performance of the watch and use it with peace of mind in the future.

When you purchase a product, we offer a one-year warranty depending on the model. Even if the warranty period has expired, we will still repair the product for a fee. If there is no repair shop near you, please feel free to contact us.
