Introducing the Tudor "Oyster" from the 1950s .

In the 1930s , Tudor was born as a second brand in order to increase Rolex's recognition and expand its sales market.

At the time, Rolex was headquartered in the UK, so they began selling to British citizens.
Although it is a second brand, Tudor, which has good cost performance despite its advanced manufacturing technology and bears the name of a famous British dynasty, quickly became popular and widely accepted by British citizens, achieving the original goal of increasing awareness of Rolex.

Currently, based on the technical capabilities it has cultivated over the years, it has become independent from Rolex, breaking away from being a second brand and is active as a brand that is on its own path.

The Tudor Oyster, with its iconic beautiful rose, has captivated watch fans around the world.
The rose placed at the 12 o'clock position is commonly known as the "Big Rose" and is a later logo of the Rose series.

Upright roses require a great deal of effort and cost to produce.
As a result, it has such an overwhelming presence that it can be recognized as a Tudor even from a distance.

The case uses the Oyster case, the world's first waterproof case.
At the time, it was operating as a second line of Rolex, so it used the same exterior as Rolex.

The Oyster case boasts a screw-down crown and highly airtight screw-back.
Not only is it functional, but the flowing, curved lines and slim case make it comfortable to wear, and it's clear that it's a first- class product in terms of design as well.

The black dial features silver dolphin hands and wedge indexes.
It exudes a unique sense of strength, yet is also elegant and dignified.

The Tudor Oyster exudes a truly unique presence.
This is a watch worthy of bearing the name of that famous British dynasty.

The movement is a hand-wound movement with 17 jewels.

Although it uses a generic movement made by another company, it has excellent operation and maintainability, making it a movement that is relatively easy to use on an everyday basis even today.

Size: height: 40.7mm , width: 37mm , thickness: 10mm , weight: 40g .

It is the perfect size for the average adult male's arm, and its thickness of 10mm means you won't have to worry about the sleeves getting caught when wearing a jacket.

Although the design has an overwhelming presence, it can be worn with a wide range of outfits, from suits to casual shirt styles.

You can also replace the belt with a nylon belt for a more casual look, so you can pair it with a polo shirt or short-sleeved shirt.

The condition of the case is good, with no noticeable scratches and the edges remaining firm.
The dial is free of any noticeable stains or corrosion and is highly legible.
The movement is stable and works without any issues.

When selling antique watches at RESUME, we do not immediately hand them over to you when you place your order. Instead, we ask a professional craftsman to overhaul them (hereafter referred to as OH) and deliver them to you after the OH is completed. (This takes about 1 to 2 months.)

A professional craftsman with first-class watch repair technician qualifications will completely disassemble your watch, replace worn parts such as the internal gaskets, clean it, oil it, and perform a thorough overhaul, maintaining it to a daily accuracy of about ±1 minute.
When we deliver the machine, we will also send you our own overhaul certificate, which shows what kind of overhaul was performed, as well as photos of the machine being disassembled and maintained.

Of course, due to the nature of the product itself being a second-hand item, there is no guarantee that it will never break, but we ask for your understanding that we take this approach so that you can enjoy the original performance of the watch and use it with peace of mind in the future.

When you purchase a product, we offer a one-year warranty depending on the model. Even if the warranty period has expired, we will still repair the product for a fee. If there is no repair shop near you, please feel free to contact us.
