Introducing the Tudor "Oyster" from the 1960s .
In the 1930s , Rolex launched "Tudor" as a second line for the British market in order to expand its brand recognition.
Its high technical capabilities, excellent cost performance, and name derived from the British dynasty gained it support and it quickly became widely known.
It later became independent from Rolex and is now recognized worldwide as a brand that has established its own unique position.
The Oyster was developed by Tudor from the 1950s to the 1960s .
This is one of the classic watches that is simple yet has an overwhelming presence.
The dial features an ivory dial with an aged texture, as well as a relief of Tudor's iconic " Tudor Rose " (commonly known as the large rose) logo at the 12 o'clock position.
The indexes are three-dimensional wedge-shaped upright indexes with chamfered edges.
It creates beautiful shadows depending on the angle of the light.
The hands are also dolphin hands in the same color as the indexes, combining visibility and elegance.
The case is made of stainless steel and has a gently sloping silhouette that flows into the lugs, making it comfortable to wear.
Equipped with a screw-down crown and screw-down back inherited from Rolex, it also provides excellent durability and water resistance.
The Oyster, with its vintage, elegant and dignified appearance, is a watch that truly allows you to feel the joy of wearing time.
The movement is a 17 jewel hand-wound type.
Although it is not an original Rolex movement, it is a movement that boasts high stability and ease of maintenance.
Size: height: 40.4mm , width: 37.4mm , thickness: 10.0mm , weight: 39g .
The perfect size for an average man's wrist size of 17cm .
It is made thin, so it does not interfere with the sleeves of a jacket, etc., and is comfortable to wear.
The classic and iconic design goes well with formal attire such as jackets and coats, as well as casual attire such as leather and denim jackets.
If you change the belt to a NATO belt or similar, it will instantly give the watch a more casual look, so you can wear it with short-sleeved shirts or polo shirts in the summer.
The condition is good, with some small scratches on the case due to use, but no major damage such as chips.
The screw-down crown also works without any issues.
The dial is in good condition with no stains or corrosion.
The movement is running smoothly and without any issues.
Equipped with Bambi Scotchguard Black.

When selling antique watches at RESUME, we do not immediately hand over the watch to you upon receiving your order. Instead, we ask a professional craftsman to overhaul it (hereinafter referred to as OH) and deliver it to you after the OH is completed. (This takes about 1 to 2 months.)
A professional craftsman with first-class watch repair technician qualifications will completely disassemble your watch, replace worn parts such as the internal gaskets, clean it, oil it, and perform a thorough overhaul, maintaining it to a daily accuracy of about ±1 minute.
When we deliver the machine, we will also send you our own overhaul certificate, which shows what kind of overhaul was performed, as well as photos of the machine being disassembled and maintained.
Of course, due to the nature of the product itself being a second-hand item, there is no guarantee that it will never break, but we ask for your understanding that we take this approach so that you can enjoy the original performance of the watch and use it with peace of mind in the future.
