Introducing Waltham Esquire in the 1960s .

American watch manufacturing methods that make it possible to mass-produce watches using interchangeable parts.
Waltham, America's oldest watch brand, is the company that put this production method into practice.

Founder Aaron Lufkin Denison established the predecessor company of Waltham in 1849 .

Using American watch-making techniques, they hold the record for mass-producing 30 pocket watches per week.

In 1885 , the company name was changed to "American Waltham Watch Company."
This is the first Waltham branded watch to be sold.
During World War II, the company continued to specialize in producing munitions for the US military.

Waltham has since continued to produce elegant and prestigious watches, even after moving its headquarters to Switzerland.

The Esquire we are introducing this time is a truly miraculous piece that was released in the 1960s and has arrived in dead stock.
There are few opportunities to become the first owner of a vintage watch, making it an extremely valuable watch.

The Esquire has a solid look with a unified silver color from the case to the dial and indexes.
With its simple yet dignified appearance, this watch is a true symbol of American products.

The silver dial has a hairline finish, giving it a texture reminiscent of metal.
The chair-shaped index has a hollowed-out center and is colored black in the center.
The use of black in the silver ensures that the overall look is not blurred, making the dial easier to read.

The edge of the crystal, which can be considered the face of the watch, is cut to make it easy to clearly distinguish the boundary between the dial and the case.
An interesting feature is the colorfully painted Waltham logo at the 12 o'clock position.

The movement is equipped with an automatic winding mechanism, making it highly practical and attractive.

Although the Esquire has a very unique design, it is also highly practical and has a sophistication that is different from other watches.
Even today, its appeal remains undiminished and it still radiates a beautiful luster.

Size: height: 37.5mm , width: 35.1mm , thickness: 8.6mm , weight: 76g .

At first glance, the watch has a casual feel, but its simple square case makes it suitable for pairing with a suit, jacket, or other business style.

Of course, it also goes well with casual clothing such as denim jackets and shirts, and can be used in a variety of situations.

The condition is dead stock, so the case is in perfect condition.
The dial is also in the same condition as when it was first released.
The movement is also running smoothly and there are no problems.
There is a sticker on the back cover proving that it is dead stock.
In addition, the metal bracelet is equipped with an original bracelet.

When selling antique watches at RESUME, we do not immediately hand them over to you when you place your order. Instead, we ask a professional craftsman to overhaul them (hereafter referred to as OH) and deliver them to you after the OH is completed. (This takes about 1 to 2 months.)

A professional craftsman with first-class watch repair technician qualifications will completely disassemble your watch, replace worn parts such as the internal gaskets, clean it, oil it, and perform a thorough overhaul, maintaining it to a daily accuracy of about ±1 minute.
When we deliver the machine, we will also send you our own overhaul certificate, which shows what kind of overhaul was performed, as well as photos of the machine being disassembled and maintained.

Of course, due to the nature of the product itself being a second-hand item, there is no guarantee that it will never break, but we ask for your understanding that we take this approach so that you can enjoy the original performance of the watch and use it with peace of mind in the future.

When you purchase a product, we offer a one-year warranty depending on the model. Even if the warranty period has expired, we will still repair the product for a fee. If there is no repair shop near you, please feel free to contact us.
